YUPPO DEVELOPMENT

Children grow at their own pace. Yuppo unlocks their full potential.

Yuppo helps you understand your child's milestones, see where they are in their development, and support their next step.

Big milestones start with small skills.

In the first few years of life, more than 1 million new neural connections form every second. The brain is never more shaped by everyday experience than it is now.

The brain is most shaped by experience in the earliest years.

Brain plasticity, or the brain’s ability to change, declines with age as its capacity to form new synapses decreases.

Every child reaches milestones in their own time.

Children can gain the same skill months apart. Developing these skills anywhere within this window is entirely healthy.

  1. Combining vowel and consonant sounds (like “agoo” or “da”)

    4 – 6 months

  2. Repetitive babbling (like “dadadada” or “babababa”)

    7 – 9 months

  3. Saying first meaningful words

    10 – 12 months

See where your child is today.

Yuppo brings together your child’s age and your observations to understand the level of each skill. It doesn’t stop at “can” or “can’t”. It looks at whether a skill is just emerging, developing as expected for their age, or already well established.

Support that grows with your child.

I thought she was falling behind. She was right on track.

She played alone beside the other kids at playgroup instead of joining in. I was afraid she was withdrawn or falling behind. With Yuppo, I learned this was parallel play, a normal stage for her age. Now we support her social skills step by step with easy games using things we already have at home.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Milestones are skills most children gain within certain age ranges, like first steps, first words or waving. They're tracked across physical, cognitive, language and social-emotional areas. Each one is a window, not an exact date.

The normal range is wide; independent walking, for example, can appear anywhere from about 8 to 18 months. If your child loses a skill they had, shows clear delays in more than one area, or you simply feel unsure, talk to your pediatrician.

Everyday play, talking, reading together and free floor time are the most powerful support. Trying activities just one step beyond what your child can do alone helps new skills grow.

Physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development. These areas influence each other, so looking at the whole picture means more than focusing on a single skill.

For babies born prematurely, development is usually assessed by corrected age, typically until around age 2. In Yuppo you can note that your baby was born prematurely, so activities and recommendations match their development. Your pediatrician will guide you through this process.
